REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

A branch of medicine concerned with the process of creating living, fully functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to disease, injury or the aging process.

This field holds the tremendous promise of regenerating damaged tissues and organs in the body by stimulating previously irreparable organs to regenerate and heal themselves. Stem cell therapy and PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) therapy can be tremendously beneficial for patients with preexisting injuries or chronic pain.

These regenerative therapies treat a wide range of conditions including inflammatory diseases, osteoarthritis, overuse injuries, ligament and tendon injuries.
